Few Hours Fishing

Finally managed a couple of hours out after the Grayling today on the Tees, the morning was extremely cold with -4 temperatures to start but when the sun finally started breaking through it was a really nice day although still cold.
The water was almost perfect but upon approaching the stretch we watched 6 cormorants disperse off the water which wasnt a good sign. Sure enough all day we never even seen a fish nor touch one and we walked over a mile looking for them, but it wasnt to be today.
What we did see was an abundence of snowdrops breaking out in flower, surely a sign that spring will be upon us soon.
