2nd Trip Out

Was back out this morning for another instalment of the Grayling, Parked the car, set up & started walking to my chosen swim as I rounded the corner of the wood 4 red deer stood feeding and drinking exactly where I wanted to fish, lovely sight 1st thing in the morning as the mist is rising off the river, hopefully the first signs of a good day

1st trot through connected with a fish straight away. A lot of fish were on the small side but this is definitely good to see but there were some nice fish mixed in.

Had 29 Grayling in total with 2 out of season brownies with the biggest Grayling weighing in at 1lbs 14oz.

A view down the river, and today's chosen tools of the trade.
