Loaded up the reels with line, broke the rods out of there bags and off I went to the Swale.
Started fishing around 6pm and finished at midnight with 4 Barbel 6lbs 10oz, 6lbs, 5lbs 4oz and 5lbs 1oz with 2 decent chub also.
Always like to take a picture of the first barbel of the year and although not massive at 6lbs 10oz it gave a good scrap in the extra water being carried in the swale.
