Split Cane & Brown Trout

Was out again this evening in my pursuit of Trout on the Tees but this evening was a bit special as it was the very first outing for my newly purchased Greys of Alnwick Kielder 8'6"Split Cane fly rod and my refurbished 1950's Allcocks Marvel Fly reel. After several missed fish with getting used to the rod I started to connect with the fish and ended the evening with 4 nice Brown Trout and a was very satisfied at how the rod & reel performed.
