Barbel & Chub

Decided late on last night that I'd have a trip back onto the Swale for the Chub & Barbel after dark seeing as conditions were difficult with the levels of the river for daylight fishing. Turned up around 8pm and caught my 1st chub at 10.20pm a nice fish of 5lbs 1oz

Never touched another fish until after midnight where in quick succession I caught 5 Barbel straight after the other, all small fish largest was probably on 6lbs, The last one I never took a picture of because it was the smallest of the group.

I ended the night at 01.30 am with 5 Barbel and 4 Chub, not bad considering the conditions and it being a spur of the moment decision to go.
