I have for some time been wanting to buy another Cane Rod to add to my collection but instead of buying a restored one which has been ready to use immediately I wanted to buy one which needed restoration work doing to it as a project.
Yesterday I took possession of an 11ft Mordex "Ideal" UFF Trotting Rod which is in need of just that. The cane which I was relieved to find has no sets in it and is in generally a good condition, so the restoration works begins.
