1st outing of the season

Ventured out today with rod in hand with my intentions solely set on my favourite fish of all and after a long trout season it was good to get back out amongst them and the ladies didn't let me down. 17 Ladies and 4 trout. Most of the ladies were on the small side but a couple of decent ones shown below. It was lovely to see so many smaller Grayling in the river a definite sign that the future of the grayling is on the up again.
