A Bit Prickly

With the heavens open again in Yorkshire and the rivers on the rise it put paid to the fishing this weekend,but with the Yorkshire Game Fair happening today & tomorrow it isnt all doom & gloom and hopefully finally get to meet up with a few online friends at the fair tomorrow which I'm looking forward to.

All bar the final coat of lacquer I managed to finish a set a porcupine quill floats that will be put to good use for Crucian Carp down south, all averaging around 6.5" in length.

A couple of orange coloured quills left totally natural bar the paintwork and lacquer.

I'm sure the recipient will  put them to good use but please be careful they are a bit sharp at the prickly end.
