A Few Nymphs More.

The last couple of nights has seen me tying up a few nymphs as the TV has quite frankly been appalling, it would drive a man to drink, good job I finished off the sloe whisky I had decanted, only a few more litres to do at the weekend.

Olive Pink Tags

Peacock orange tags

Silver Dollar's

Green Bombers

Green Ass

Black & Olive

Thankfully the weighted nymph section of the box is almost complete now & I can concentrate on a few other patterns to tie as droppers and a few streamers which I've been advised to tie up and take with me.

I have fished the river avon since my grandfather taught me to worm then nymph then dry fly from 5 yrs old when ever iv had the time as an adult I still buy a season ticket to this stunning river if I had put a weighted fly /nymph on point I would have recieved a cuff roon the earhole weight only on the dropper and a wee spider or winged local (march brown blae Black or cow dung) on point have tacken many good trout from the motorway bridge all the wae up the river. Still fish it and I'm over 50 now I have taught many fishers to read learn tye and catch both trout grayling. And caught and released many seatrout on this river even above the wier at Hamilton
