The new Brown Trout Season

The Brown Trout season finally opened today in Yorkshire, always a few days later than its Northumbria neighbour but am sure well worth the wait. The kit will get dusted off and the old cane rod will be taken out of hibernation again as my new commissioned cane one is still not quite ready.

This season I plan to get to a few new places on the rivers  with me joining a new Club this year which mainly has its water around Aysgarth Falls on the River Ure so really looking forward to that, so all my Fly Fishing friends tight Lines and have a great Brown Trout season wherever your fishing.
