No, No, No Thats Totally Wrong

Back at the start of December I posted a few pictures of a couple of floats I was asked to make for a little girl called Alice Ryder-Bowman to go in her Christmas stocking as she is mad for float fishing.

These were the two floats I made for her, her name hidden from view as I know she visits the blog with her dad and I didn't want to spoil the surprise, after all Santa Clause had to do his magic and whisk them away.

I received an update & a picture from 10 year old Alice saying that she liked the floats so much she had done this to them......

That is so so  wrong Alice.....What does it say in the title of the blog.

" I dont make floats to be works of art, to look pretty and be hung on a wall in a picture frame, I make them for what they were designed for......catching fish"

Now I think I know the reason why she has done what she has, To annoy her Dad as he was so desperate to fish with them that she is protecting her assets which is understandable, so Alice if your reading this, Good girl save them for yourself and tell dad to get his own.....lol

Alice your forgiven for breaking the blog rules on this occassion, enjoy them hanging in your bedroom and tell dad not to touch them.

As someone once said on a passion for angling ' the best part of a float is not its appearance but its disappearance'.

One of my favourite fishing quotes that is (just wish mine would disappear more regularly though :)

I'll hopefully get my order in soon when I get round to it.
