Another Year Over

Im sitting on the last day of 2017 casting my eye over the blog entries for the year, and before I archive the 58 entries for this year, I feel privileged to have caught some beautiful fish throughout the year but what makes it special is the sights and sounds I've encountered and people I've met along the way.

Im very privileged to have these sights on my doorstep and be able to fish in these surroundings most weekends.

Learning new skills thanks to some special people, too many to mention but a special mention the Steven Dawson for the Furling Tuition way back in early March.

The birds & animals I've seen from eggs through to death.

And the fish haven't been too bad neither.

Not forgetting a couple of long time friends who I've had the pleasure of their company with this year.

As we all follow our own little paths into another year all that remains for me to say is a thank you
to everyone I've had the pleasure to either fish with, correspond with or simply pass 5 minutes chatting with as part of my journey through life for 2017.

I wish you all a Happy Hogmanay wherever you are in the world and best wishes for 2018.

  2. All the best for 2018 George, and hopefully plenty of fish.

You write an excellent blog and I always eagerly anticipate reading of your exploits on a Monday. I just wish I was a few fish behind you.
