3 Vein Fluted float

I was asked by a fellow angler to make him a 3 veined fluted float to use. A 3 veined fluted float I asked, are you sure you dont mean a 4 vein fluted float? The answer I got back was specific for a 3 veined fluted float and that he had used them in his younger days but could no longer find them anywhere. I set off trying to investigate the 3 veined version but found absolutely no pics on the www or in any publications, so after some failed attempts at creating I finally settled on the design shown, my 1st 3 vein fluted float. Thanks to the lads at AN for their assistance and input in helping me get to the finished article, greatly appreciated.
