A Trip on the Test from Maxine

I always like to hear how people have got on when using the floats that I made for them and  recently heard from Maxine on the trip to the River Test.

Hi George

 

You made me 4 topper floats back in August for my trip to the River Test in Hampshire this November. I have just returned and thought I should let you know how things went. Well, river wise it was beautiful as always, very high and fast due to all the rain. I fished two days the first was wet all day the second very windy. The fish were superb caught lots of Grayling and the odd Brown Trout. Your floats were awesome and much admired by other fishers. Unfortunately I did manage to leave one up in a tree but, they assure me they will keep it for me to collect when I return next year.

Once again thanks so much for the floats I wish I could make my own but, I wouldn't know where to start.

As always its gives great satisfaction in knowing that something you have made has given another angler great pleasure & satisfaction, and that's what gives the greatest pleasure, knowing the floats are being used for what they were designed for and not sitting in a picture frame on a wall..Thank you Maxine for taking the time to update me.
