Goose Quills

As mentioned in my previous post I have been working on a trio of painted Goose Quill floats which I finished off last night, Got a few flies to tie up seeing as the river is still in spate after the rain at the beginning of the week, should be fishable tomorrow evening, so touch wood I may get out for a few hours.

Set of 3 painted Goose Quill floats in red, yellow & orange.

The old technique of using the quill as an eye was used.
