Commemorative Rod Complete

Received a final progress report from Gary on my return from work today with enclosed photographs of the completed rod. Only now a matter of days before it will be in my hands.

Reflecting back over the 17 months from thinking about the idea to seeing the finished results, I have to say I'm so glad that I asked Gary to build the rod as it will be an item I will cherish for the rest of my life and this coupled with the memorial centre pin reel for those trotting days when I'm not fly fishing, a personal reminder for me of my parents in my chosen pastime.
